A refined text serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and gently bracketed serifs. Curves are smooth and somewhat generous, while stems stay crisp and vertical, creating a steady, traditional rhythm in continuous reading. The lowercase shows oldstyle influence with a two-storey a and g, modest ascenders, and softly tapered terminals; the italic is not shown and the roman maintains a composed, book-oriented color. Numerals and capitals feel balanced and slightly monumental, with elegant joins and a clean, uncluttered silhouette.

Well suited to book typography, magazines, and editorial layouts where a classic serif voice and strong readability are needed. It can also support institutional or cultural branding, invitations, and display typography for headings when a traditional, refined impression is desired.

The overall tone is classical and literary, projecting a sense of tradition, credibility, and quiet sophistication. It feels suited to editorial contexts where restraint and refinement are valued over overt personality.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-quality reading serif: conservative in structure, elegant in contrast, and tuned for a stable text rhythm. Its details suggest an aim toward timelessness and versatility across body copy and larger sizes without departing from established book typographic conventions.

Serif shapes read as carefully bracketed rather than sharp or wedge-like, and the contrast is consistent across the alphabet, giving the face a polished, print-like finish. Counters remain open in the sample text, helping maintain clarity at larger text sizes while preserving a dignified, formal presence.
