A heavy, block-driven slab serif with squared proportions and compact counters. The serifs read as broad, rectangular slabs with noticeable bracketing, and many joins show deliberate notches that create an ink-trap or punch-cut effect. Curves are simplified into sturdy rounded rectangles (especially in C, G, O, S), while verticals stay dominant, giving the face a firm, planted rhythm. Spacing and widths vary by letter, producing an irregular, display-oriented cadence rather than a strictly uniform texture.

Best suited to large sizes where the notches, bracketing, and slab shapes can be appreciated—headlines, posters, bold branding, labels, and signage. It can also work for short emphasis lines in editorial layouts, but the dense forms and display texture make it less ideal for long reading.

The overall tone is bold and assertive with a frontier-meets-industrial character. Its chunky slabs and cut-in details evoke classic wood-type posters and workwear signage, projecting toughness and a utilitarian, no-nonsense feel.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a retro, poster-ready slab voice, using heavy geometry and ink-trap-like cut-ins to keep shapes distinct and to suggest a printed, wood-type or stamped manufacturing aesthetic.

The distinctive notched joins and cutouts are most visible in diagonals and bowl connections (e.g., K, R, a, g), adding a carved or stamped impression. Numerals are similarly stout and squared, matching the headline-forward personality.
