A wide, old-style serif with roughened, uneven contours that mimic worn printing or hand-inked letterforms. Strokes show subtle waviness and broken edges, with moderate thick–thin modulation and bracketed serifs that often look slightly chipped or blotted. Counters are generally open and round, while terminals and joins vary from glyph to glyph, creating an intentionally inconsistent, analog rhythm. Numerals and lowercase carry the same distressed treatment, with occasional ink-trap-like nicks and small interior notches.

Best suited to short-to-medium display text where texture is an asset: book covers, chapter openers, posters, artisan packaging, labels, and themed headlines. It can also work for pull quotes or signage-style lines when you want a deliberately aged, tactile imprint.
