A gently calligraphic italic serif with flared stroke endings and softly bracketed serifs that broaden out of the stems rather than terminating abruptly. The construction shows moderate stroke modulation, with tapered entry and exit strokes and rounded joins that keep the texture smooth in continuous text. Uppercase forms feel open and lightly proportioned, while the lowercase has a slightly organic rhythm with single‑storey a and g, a curved descending f, and a long, flowing y. Numerals follow the same slanted, tapered logic, reading clearly while maintaining the italic movement.

Well suited to editorial typography—chapter openers, pull quotes, subheads, and sophisticated headline work—where an expressive italic voice is desirable. It can also support refined branding for cultural institutions, publishers, and boutique products, and works effectively in longer passages when a classic, readable italic is needed.

The overall tone is cultivated and literary, combining classical bookish manners with a warmer, more handwritten italic flow. It suggests tradition and care rather than austerity, giving text a polished, editorial feel without becoming overly formal.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional italic reading experience with added warmth and character, using flared terminals and moderate modulation to evoke calligraphic origins while staying clean and controlled for contemporary layout use.

The italic angle is consistent and the internal spacing is generous enough to keep words airy at display and text sizes. Distinctive flares and pointed terminals add character, especially in diagonals and curved letters, which contributes to a lively, slightly bespoke texture.
