A sculpted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply tapered joins that create a chiseled, calligraphic rhythm. Strokes frequently swell from hairline-like connections into broad, dark masses, with wedge-like terminals and subtly flared endings that read as carved rather than mechanically squared. The serifs are compact and bracketed, and many curves show a taut, engraved tension—most evident in the bowls and the S/C forms—giving the letters a lively, irregular color despite an overall upright stance. Lowercase forms are sturdy and compact with strong vertical emphasis, while the capitals feel display-oriented with generous inner counters and crisp, pointed transitions.

Best suited to headlines, magazine display, and statement typography where its dramatic contrast and carved terminals can be appreciated. It can also work well for branding and packaging that aims for a premium, classic-forward voice, especially at larger sizes where the fine connections and sharp details remain clear.

The overall tone is high-drama and editorial: luxurious, slightly theatrical, and reminiscent of classic book and fashion typography. Its sharp tapers and inky main strokes convey confidence and sophistication, with a touch of vintage gravitas rather than a neutral, utilitarian feel.

The design appears intended to deliver an elegant, high-impact serif voice by combining very strong contrast with tapered, flared stroke endings and compact bracketed serifs. The goal seems to be a distinctive display texture—classic in spirit but with enough sculptural idiosyncrasy to stand apart in contemporary editorial and brand settings.

Spacing and rhythm in text suggest a display-first design that builds texture through strong contrast and sculptural terminals. Numerals appear similarly stylized, with curving, calligraphic details that match the letters and reinforce a formal, crafted impression.
