A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered hairlines, sturdier stems, and bracketed wedge-like serifs that read crisp rather than blunt. Proportions lean traditional, with a moderate x-height and clear thick–thin modulation across rounds and diagonals. Several lowercase forms show pronounced, rounded terminals and teardrop/ball finishing touches, giving counters a lively, slightly calligraphic rhythm while keeping an overall upright, composed stance. Numerals and capitals appear sturdy and stately, with clean interior spaces and a consistent baseline presence.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and literary publishing where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also performs convincingly for headlines, pull quotes, and brand applications that benefit from a classic, authoritative tone and strong thick–thin contrast.

The tone is established and bookish, projecting authority and refinement. Its crisp contrast and classical detailing suggest an editorial voice—confident, traditional, and slightly dramatic in display sizes without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with elevated contrast for a polished, editorial finish. It aims to deliver a familiar, classic reading texture while adding a touch of sophistication through sharper serifs and expressive terminal detailing.

Round letters maintain a strong vertical stress, and diagonals (notably in V/W/Y) create a bold, angular cadence against the finer connecting strokes. The design balances sharp, pointed details (beaks and serifs) with soft terminal shaping in the lowercase, helping it feel both formal and readable.
