A refined high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, razor-thin hairlines, and strong thick–thin modulation. Stems are tall and crisp, with delicate, sharp serifs and clean, open counters that keep the forms legible despite the fine detailing. The lowercase shows a classic book-ish skeleton with a two-storey “a,” compact apertures, and a lively “g” with a pronounced ear; terminals tend toward tapered, calligraphic finishes. Numerals and capitals share the same polished, chiseled rhythm, producing a light-on-its-feet texture in continuous text and a striking silhouette in display sizes.

Best suited to editorial typography—magazine headlines, pull quotes, and section titles—where its contrast can read as intentional elegance. It also works well for luxury-oriented branding and packaging, especially in larger sizes where the hairlines and tapered terminals can be appreciated. For extended text, it favors well-controlled layouts and comfortable sizes to preserve the delicacy of its thin strokes.

The overall tone is poised and upscale, projecting a couture/editorial sensibility with a touch of theatrical contrast. It feels formal and modern-classic at once—more about sharp refinement and visual drama than warmth or rusticity.

The design appears aimed at delivering a modern Didone-like refinement: crisp geometry, high contrast, and a premium voice optimized for display and editorial impact. Its narrow, upright stance and sharp detailing suggest an intention to look polished, fashionable, and authoritative in curated layouts.

In the sample text, the fine horizontals and serifs create sparkling highlights and a slightly staccato rhythm, especially in mixed-case setting. The narrow proportions and tall capitals heighten the sense of sophistication and make spacing and line breaks feel deliberate and structured.
