A high-contrast serif with crisp, tapered hairlines and confident, darker main strokes. Serifs are sharp and wedge-like with noticeable bracketing, and many stroke endings flare subtly, giving the forms a carved, calligraphic finish rather than blunt terminals. The capitals feel stately and slightly condensed in their internal spacing, with smooth, rational curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) and pointed joins in V/W. Lowercase shows a traditional, text-oriented structure with a two-storey a, compact bowls, and narrow apertures; the overall rhythm alternates between thin hairlines and strong verticals for a lively page color.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, mastheads, and other display settings where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for premium branding and book or poster titles, especially when paired with generous spacing and high-quality output.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, with a high-end, fashion-and-magazine sensibility. Its sharp serifs and pronounced contrast lend a dramatic, cultured voice that reads as classic and authoritative rather than casual.

The design appears intended to modernize a classical serif model through sharper wedge serifs and subtly flared terminals, delivering an elegant, high-contrast look optimized for expressive display typography.

In the sample text, the thin connecting strokes and hairlines create sparkle at larger sizes, while the heavier stems maintain a firm baseline. Numerals follow the same contrast and wedge-serif logic, with a particularly sculpted 2 and a curving, elegant 3.
