A heavy, blocky display face built from straight stems and squared bowls with frequent chamfered corners, creating an octagonal, sign-painter geometry. Letters carry a contrasting internal inline cut that reads as a narrow white channel through the black mass, often paired with a crisp outer edge that feels slightly outlined. Counters are compact and rectangular, terminals are blunt, and curves are minimized in favor of faceted joins; diagonals (V, W, X, Y) keep the same hard-edged, cut-corner logic. Spacing and widths vary by character, but the overall texture remains dense and high-impact.

Best suited to short, prominent text such as sports logos, team names, event posters, apparel graphics, and bold signage where the inline channel can be appreciated. It also works well for impactful packaging callouts and title treatments that benefit from a vintage athletic flavor.

The overall tone is collegiate and old-school, reminiscent of athletic uniforms, letterman jackets, and vintage scoreboard lettering. The inline detail adds a crafted, engraved feel that makes the font read as loud and confident while still having a decorative, nostalgic character.

The design appears intended as a decorative display face that merges classic varsity block lettering with an inline, carved detail to increase visual interest and dimensionality. Its faceted corners and dense weight suggest it was drawn to look strong, emblematic, and highly legible at large sizes.

At smaller sizes the inline carving and tight counters can visually fill in, so it reads most clearly when given room. The faceted construction stays consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, helping it maintain a uniform, emblem-like presence in headings.
