A high-contrast display serif with sharp, tapered serifs and a sculpted, engraved feel. Strokes are interrupted by a narrow inline cut that runs through the heavier parts of the letters, creating a hollowed, dimensional look while keeping the outer silhouette crisp. Capitals are narrow and tall with pronounced vertical stress; rounds (C, O, Q, G) show thick–thin modulation and tight counters. Lowercase mixes sturdy stems with occasional swashy cues in a few shapes, and overall spacing reads slightly tight, emphasizing a compact, poster-like texture.

Best suited to display use: headlines, posters, invitations, labels, and brand marks where the engraved inline effect can be appreciated. It can add character to short bursts of text (taglines, pull quotes), but the dense detailing is more effective at medium-to-large sizes than in long reading.

The inline carving and strong contrast evoke a theatrical, vintage tone—part circus poster, part Victorian headline. It feels lively and a bit mischievous rather than strictly formal, with enough ornament to suggest spectacle and branding flair.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif silhouette with an added carved inline to create depth and stage-ready ornament. It prioritizes impact and personality over neutrality, aiming for a distinctive, print-poster presence.

The inline detail can visually fill in at smaller sizes, so the face reads best when given room to breathe. Numerals follow the same engraved logic with bold outer strokes and a consistent internal cut, helping them hold their own in headline settings.
