A serif design with tall, narrow proportions and a noticeably irregular, hand-inked outline. Strokes show wavy edges and occasional double-line wobble, giving the impression of pen pressure and imperfect inking rather than clean vector geometry. Serifs are sharp and delicate, and curves (notably in C, G, O, Q, and the numerals) have a slightly lopsided, organic roundness. Spacing and sidebearings feel uneven in a deliberate way, producing a lively rhythm that reads more like distressed letterpress or sketchy engraving than a polished book face.

Best suited to display and short-form settings where the roughened detailing can be appreciated: book covers, editorial titles, posters, and themed packaging. It can work for pull quotes or larger-size text blocks when a vintage, handcrafted voice is desired, but it is less appropriate for small UI text or long reading at modest sizes where the textured contours may reduce clarity.

The overall tone is antique and literary with an eccentric, storybook edge. The textured outlines add a handmade, slightly haunted charm that can feel whimsical, gothic-adjacent, or theatrical depending on setting and copy. It communicates character and atmosphere more than neutrality.

The design appears intended to evoke a vintage, hand-printed or pen-drawn serif with deliberate irregularity. By combining refined serif structure with rough, ink-worn contours, it aims to deliver a period-flavored, characterful voice for expressive typography.

The texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, so the “worn” effect is integral to the design rather than an occasional accent. The short lowercase height and narrow set make mixed-case text look airy, while the lively outlines increase visual noise at smaller sizes, especially in dense paragraphs.
