A serif text face with bracketed serifs and modest stroke modulation, rendered with intentionally rough, uneven edges that mimic worn printing or ink spread. The outlines show small nicks and wobble along stems and curves, giving counters a slightly irregular contour while keeping overall letter construction stable and readable. Proportions are fairly traditional, with open apertures and clear, straightforward forms; numerals and capitals share the same sturdy, print-derived structure.

Works well for headlines, posters, and packaging where a vintage or rugged print texture is desirable, and it can also support short-to-medium editorial passages that benefit from a tactile, reproduced look. It’s particularly suited to branding and cover work aiming for an authentic, slightly weathered voice.

The texture adds a tactile, timeworn tone—evoking printed matter that’s been handled, stamped, or reproduced through imperfect processes. It feels practical and grounded rather than decorative, with a hint of archival or industrial character coming from the distressed perimeter and inky presence.

The design appears intended to combine a conventional serif reading skeleton with a distressed finish, delivering familiar typographic structure while adding the visual flavor of worn type or rough presswork. The goal seems to be readability first, with texture used as the primary expressive layer.

In running text, the distress is consistent enough to read as a deliberate surface treatment rather than random noise, and the serif framework keeps long passages coherent. The roughness becomes more apparent at larger sizes, where the edge detail reads as a prominent stylistic feature.
