A serif typeface with sturdy, bracketed serifs and a compact, workmanlike construction. Strokes remain largely even, but the contours are intentionally roughened, with slightly uneven edges and a stamped/inked texture that makes terminals look worn and imperfect. Counters are open and legible, and letterforms keep a classic book-serif skeleton while introducing subtle irregularities that break the mechanical smoothness. Figures match the same distressed treatment and maintain a steady, readable rhythm in text.

Well-suited to editorial headlines and short-to-medium passages where a vintage, printed texture adds character—such as book covers, period-style posters, labels, and boutique branding. It can also work for pull quotes and display settings that benefit from a slightly rugged, analog presence.

The texture and softened roughness evoke vintage printing, battered type, and utilitarian documents. It feels grounded and tactile—more like ink on paper than a pristine digital rendering—carrying a subtly gritty, historical tone that suits storytelling and archival themes.

Designed to blend a familiar, traditional serif foundation with a deliberately imperfect printed finish, creating the look of aged type and tactile ink spread. The goal appears to be adding authenticity and atmosphere—suggesting history and materiality—while staying readable in practical layouts.

In running text the distressed edges create a lively surface without overly compromising character recognition, while the serif structure preserves a traditional reading cadence. The overall impression is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, giving it a cohesive “worn print” personality.
