A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and sharp, tapered terminals. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation and a calligraphic rhythm, with wedge-like, lightly bracketed serifs and crisp entry/exit strokes. Curves are smooth and slightly condensed in motion, while capitals keep a dignified, sculpted presence; the lowercase is fluid with expressive joins and distinctive italic forms. Numerals follow the same italic stress and contrast, reading as elegant and slightly lively rather than rigidly mechanical.

Well-suited for editorial typography where an elegant italic voice is needed—such as magazine features, book titling, forewords, and pull quotes. It can also serve refined branding, packaging accents, and formal printed pieces like invitations, especially when used at display or comfortable text-emphasis sizes.

The overall tone is cultivated and literary, suggesting classic bookish elegance and editorial sophistication. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of emphasis and flourish without becoming ornamental to the point of novelty, making it feel formal, poised, and slightly romantic.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, formal italic with pronounced contrast and a calligraphic cadence, providing a sophisticated emphasis style that pairs naturally with conventional serif typography and supports expressive, polished typesetting.

The italic construction leans on strong diagonals and tapered endings, giving word shapes a continuous, forward-moving cadence. Counters stay fairly open for a high-contrast style, but the finest strokes and delicate serifs will visually lighten at smaller sizes, favoring careful sizing and spacing.
