This typeface is a blackletter-inspired design with sharply broken strokes, jagged terminals, and frequent thorn-like protrusions that give the contours a distressed, splintered edge. Stems are generally tall and compact, with tight interior counters and pointed joins that create a tense, vertical rhythm. The texture is uneven by design—many letters show torn-looking notches and irregular stroke edges—yet the underlying construction remains consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals. Numerals and capitals carry the most aggressive detailing, while the lowercase retains the same fractured logic in a more restrained silhouette.

Best suited to short, prominent settings where its rough blackletter character can be appreciated—horror and thriller titles, album covers, event posters, game logos, and seasonal promotions. It also works well for emblematic phrases or chapter heads, but will be most effective when given ample size and spacing to prevent the distressed details from visually clumping.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, evoking cursed manuscripts, occult signage, and horror title treatments. Its spiky, deteriorated detailing reads as unsettling and aggressive, projecting danger and unease rather than refinement or warmth.

The design appears intended to merge traditional gothic/blackletter structure with a corrupted, thorny surface treatment, prioritizing atmosphere and shock value over neutrality. Its consistent vertical build and sharp, eroded terminals aim to deliver an instantly eerie, high-impact display voice.

In text settings the dense, high-frequency edge detail creates a strong black texture and can reduce clarity at smaller sizes, especially where narrow counters close up. The most striking impact comes from the dramatic capitals and the highly stylized diagonals and curves, which introduce a deliberate sense of instability and bite.
