A jagged display face with irregular, brush-like strokes and sharply tapered terminals that fray into small spikes. Letterforms are narrow overall but vary in width and contour, creating a restless rhythm across words. Stems and diagonals show uneven edges and occasional flare-outs, while bowls and counters stay relatively open for a distressed style, helping forms like O, P, and e remain recognizable. Numerals and capitals follow the same torn, scratch-cut construction, maintaining consistent texture and a slightly aggressive silhouette.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror titles, Halloween promotions, dark event posters, and haunted-attraction signage. It also fits game interfaces, streaming thumbnails, album art, and packaging where a gritty, eerie texture is desirable. Use at larger sizes for maximum character and legibility.

The texture and spiked terminals project an ominous, supernatural tone—closer to scratched lettering or clawed ink than clean typography. Its irregularity reads as tense and unsettling, evoking horror, dark fantasy, and haunted ephemera rather than everyday communication.

The design appears intended to mimic handmade, distressed lettering—like ink dragged over rough paper or carved strokes—while keeping core glyph structures legible. Its goal is mood first: sharp, ominous texture and irregular rhythm that instantly signals a spooky theme in display typography.

In continuous text the rough edges create strong visual noise, so spacing and size will materially affect clarity; it performs best when allowed room to breathe. The consistent distress pattern across uppercase, lowercase, and figures gives it a unified, intentionally weathered character.
