A monospaced serif design with typewriter-like proportions and a steady vertical rhythm. Letterforms are built from relatively simple, sturdy strokes, but the outlines are intentionally irregular: edges look roughened and slightly broken, with small nicks and blot-like swellings that mimic worn metal type or ink spread. Serifs read as blunt and bracketed in feel rather than sharp, and terminals often end with softened, distressed corners. The overall texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, producing an even, “printed” color with visible grit.

Works well for headlines, short paragraphs, and display text where a textured, analog presence is desirable—such as posters, book or album covers, title cards, themed packaging, and editorial callouts. In longer text, the roughened edges remain legible but are best used when the gritty texture is part of the intended atmosphere.

The font conveys an analog, archival tone—evoking paperwork, reportage, and aged documents. Its distressed perimeter adds a tactile, slightly ominous character that can lean toward noir, mystery, or postmarked ephemera rather than clean modernity.

The design appears intended to recreate the feel of monospaced typewritten printing with the imperfections of aging, rough paper, or worn ink transfer. It balances consistent metrics and classic serif structure with deliberate surface damage to add character and period flavor.

Spacing appears fixed and uniform, reinforcing a mechanical, typewritten cadence. Numerals and capitals keep a straightforward, utilitarian construction, while the distressing introduces lively variation without disrupting the underlying grid-like alignment.
