A robust serif with strongly bracketed, slightly flared terminals and a noticeably inked-in texture at joins and stroke ends. Strokes show pronounced contrast with an organic, calligraphic modulation, and the outlines feel gently irregular, as if printed or drawn with a broad nib rather than constructed geometrically. Counters are moderately open, with round letters leaning toward oval forms, and the spacing reads generous in display sizes. The lowercase features sturdy stems and compact, slightly asymmetrical bowls; the numerals are similarly weighty with lively curves and firm foot serifs.

Well suited to editorial headlines, book covers, posters, and branding where a classic, crafted voice is desired. It can also work for short passages, pull quotes, and titling in print or on the web when you want strong presence and a historic, slightly tactile feel.

The overall tone is traditional and warm, suggesting heritage printing and hand-set type with a slightly rugged edge. Its lively stroke endings and softly uneven color give it a human, narrative quality—confident and authoritative without feeling polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to evoke old-style, humanist serif traditions while adding a deliberately imperfect, inked texture for character and warmth. It prioritizes atmosphere and impact—especially in larger sizes—over a strictly neutral, modern finish.

In the text sample, the font creates a dark, emphatic typographic color with clear word shapes, while the textured terminals and heavier joins become part of the personality. The capitals have a stately presence, and the ampersand and figures share the same engraved/inked character, reinforcing consistency across the set.
