A high-contrast serif italic with sturdy stems, tapered entry/exit strokes, and distinctly bracketed serifs. The forms lean with a steady rightward slant and show a lively, calligraphic modulation—thin hairlines against heavy main strokes—creating pronounced rhythm in words. Capitals are broad and confident with crisp serifs and occasional curved terminals, while the lowercase carries more flourish through looping joins and ball-like terminals (notably in letters such as g, y, and z). Numerals follow the same italic, stroke-modulated logic, with angled figures and sharp, serifed finishing strokes.

Well suited to headlines, magazine and book typography, and other editorial uses where an emphatic italic is needed. It can add a classic, upscale tone to invitations and branding, especially for names, short phrases, and pull quotes where its contrast and swash-like details can be appreciated.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, with a slightly theatrical italic energy that feels at home in editorial and ceremonial contexts. Its strong contrast and sweeping terminals give it a confident, expressive voice without departing from conventional serif expectations.

The design appears intended as a conventional serif italic with enhanced display presence, combining classical proportions with more expressive terminals and stroke modulation to create emphasis and elegance in running phrases and titles.

Spacing appears generous in the samples, helping the heavier strokes and deep curves remain legible at display sizes. The italic construction is consistent across cases, and the more decorative lowercase details add personality that becomes especially noticeable in longer phrases.
