A sturdy slab-serif design with compact proportions and a slightly condensed, press-like color. Strokes are solid and fairly even, but edges are intentionally roughened with small nicks, softened corners, and irregular ink spread that gives each letter a worn impression. Serifs are blunt and bracketed, counters stay readable, and curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) show subtle wobble rather than perfect geometry. The overall rhythm is consistent, with just enough texture variation to feel printed or stamped rather than digitally clean.

Well-suited to headlines and short-to-medium blocks of copy where a textured, printed feel is desirable—such as posters, book covers, pull quotes, labels, and packaging. It can also work for branding and signage that benefits from a vintage, stamped aesthetic, especially at sizes large enough for the roughened edges to read as intentional texture.

The font reads as vintage and workmanlike, with a tactile, analog grit that suggests old posters, typewriter impressions, or letterpress ephemera. Its rough texture adds tension and character, creating a slightly noir, Western, or industrial tone without becoming illegible.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic slab-serif foundation while introducing controlled roughness to simulate worn printing and add personality. It aims for strong readability paired with an authentic, tactile finish that makes contemporary layouts feel aged and hands-on.

The distressing appears as edge wear and uneven ink density rather than heavy erosion, so forms remain clear at display sizes. Numerals and caps match the same rugged treatment, keeping a cohesive, poster-ready voice across alphanumerics.
