This typeface combines a sturdy oldstyle serif skeleton with calligraphic, swashy terminals. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, with crisp hairlines and heavier verticals, and many capitals feature looped or curled entry strokes that read like pen flourishes. Serifs are pronounced and often bracketed, while curves and bowls are generously rounded, giving the forms a slightly expanded, open feel. Lowercase is comparatively restrained and readable, while the uppercase, ampersand, and select letters carry the most decoration, creating a clear hierarchy within text.

It is well suited to display contexts where its flourished capitals can be featured—wedding or event invitations, titles and headings, book or chapter openers, and boutique branding or packaging. In longer text it can work at moderate sizes when ornamented capitals are used selectively, with the lowercase carrying the bulk of readability.

The overall tone is formal and expressive, balancing traditional bookish refinement with a touch of theatrical flourish. The prominent swashes lend a romantic, ceremonial character that can feel festive or storybook-like depending on setting and spacing.

The design appears intended to evoke classical, formal typography while adding hand-driven calligraphic personality through swashes and high-contrast detailing. Its mix of restrained lowercase and embellished capitals suggests a font meant to provide elegance on demand—calm for reading, decorative for emphasis.

The decorative capitals introduce noticeable rhythm changes in mixed-case lines, especially around swashy letters (such as A, D, J, L, Q, R, and W) and the ornate ampersand. Numerals are serifed and consistent in contrast, matching the text color of the lowercase, while the uppercase ornamentation reads best when given a bit of breathing room.
