A heavy, display-oriented serif with prominent slab-like terminals and sharply notched joins that create a cut-in, stencil-adjacent look. Strokes show clear contrast between thick curves and thinner connecting strokes, with broad, rounded bowls (notably in O/C/G and the lowercase o/e) paired with square, flat-ended serifs. Many serifs read as rectangular pads separated from the stems by small triangular or rectangular cutouts, producing a rhythmic “stepped” edge along baselines and caps. Overall proportions are generous and open, with roomy counters and slightly variable character widths that emphasize a poster-like presence.

Best suited to large sizes where the notched slab details and contrast can read clearly—headlines, posters, storefront or event signage, and bold branding or packaging. It can also work for short pull quotes or titles, but the strong decorative terminals may become busy in long text settings.

The font projects a theatrical, old-style showcard energy—part Western playbill, part circus headline—while staying crisp and controlled. The repeated notches and slab pads add a mechanical, crafted flavor that feels bold and attention-seeking rather than literary or delicate.

The design appears intended to blend classic slab-serif structure with decorative cut-in terminals to create immediate impact and a period-evocative, showy tone. Its wide, open shapes and pronounced slabs prioritize recognizability and personality in display typography.

Round forms are dominant and strongly weighted, while straight-sided letters (E/F/T/I) rely on the distinctive slab terminals for personality. The figures are similarly stylized, with flat, slabbed endings and high-contrast curves that keep them visually consistent with the letterforms.
