A distressed serif with compact proportions, soft wedge-like terminals, and subtly flared strokes that suggest a hand-inked or worn print origin. Letterforms show noticeable texture and uneven edges, with occasional dark blotting and slight shape wobble that keeps the rhythm lively. Contrast is evident between thick stems and thinner connecting strokes, while counters remain open enough for readability in the sample text. The overall construction stays mostly upright and consistent, but with small irregularities in curves, joints, and stroke endings that create an intentionally imperfect finish.

Well suited to posters, packaging, and branding systems that benefit from an artisanal or vintage print voice. It works especially well for book covers, event titles, café/market identities, and short editorial headlines where the textured detail can be appreciated without overwhelming long passages.

The font conveys a rustic, old-world warmth—part bookish and familiar, part handmade and weathered. Its distressed surface adds a tactile, analog feel that reads as casual, nostalgic, and slightly whimsical rather than formal or pristine.

The design appears intended to emulate the look of ink on porous paper or slightly degraded letterpress printing, combining a readable serif skeleton with controlled distress to add atmosphere. Its consistent underlying structure suggests it’s meant to function as a practical display face while still delivering a handmade, timeworn impression.

In running text, the texture becomes a defining feature: it adds character at display sizes and gives headings a printed-by-hand authenticity, while at smaller sizes the rough edges may visually thicken and create darker patches in dense passages. Numerals and capitals share the same soft, worn treatment, keeping the set cohesive across mixed-case typography.
