A serif italic with strongly modulated strokes and crisp, tapered terminals that evoke a pen-driven construction. Letterforms are narrow to moderately proportioned with a steady rightward slant, high-contrast thick–thin transitions, and subtly cupped serifs that sharpen at the ends. Counters are open and rounded, while ascenders and descenders are relatively long, giving the lowercase an airy, vertical rhythm. The overall texture is smooth and consistent, with occasional flourish-like strokes on characters such as the italic capitals and the more dynamic lowercase forms.

It performs well where an elegant italic voice is desirable: invitations and announcements, editorial pull quotes, book or chapter titling, and refined branding elements such as packaging or boutique identities. It is particularly effective at medium to large sizes where the stroke modulation and terminals remain clear and expressive.

The font conveys a polished, literary tone—poised and traditional rather than casual. Its calligraphic modulation and italic movement suggest formality, ceremony, and an editorial sensibility suited to cultured or heritage-leaning communication.

The design appears intended to deliver a formal, calligraphic italic with strong stroke contrast and controlled flourish, balancing readability with a cultivated, classical atmosphere. It aims to feel hand-influenced without becoming fully script-like, providing a dignified italic for display and short-to-medium text.

Capitals read as stately and slightly restrained, while the lowercase carries more motion and personality, creating an appealing contrast in mixed-case settings. Numerals appear elegant and slightly old-style in feel, with curved strokes and refined terminals that match the text rhythm.
