A hand-drawn serif with brushlike, slightly ragged outlines and visibly uneven stroke terminals. The letterforms keep a readable, old-style skeleton while allowing wobbly curves, variable counters, and subtly inconsistent proportions that create a natural, handmade rhythm. Serifs are implied rather than crisp—often flared or blunted—while verticals and diagonals show mild wavering and occasional ink swell. Spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, irregular texture across words and lines.

It works well for display and short text where texture is a feature: book covers, posters, editorial headers, artisanal packaging, and branding that benefits from a handcrafted voice. It can also suit thematic materials such as folk events, tavern-style menus, or storybook and game-adjacent titling where an intentionally imperfect print feel is desired.

The font conveys a rustic, folkloric tone—warm, imperfect, and intentionally rough, like lettering made with a worn brush or printed from a distressed block. Its quirky irregularity feels playful and story-driven, with a hint of antique charm rather than modern polish.

The design appears intended to capture the character of distressed, hand-rendered lettering—prioritizing atmosphere and personality over geometric regularity. It aims to deliver a consistent roughness and lively rhythm while keeping letterforms recognizable and broadly readable in headline settings.

Capitals tend to be narrow and slightly angular with expressive, uneven joins, while lowercase forms stay compact and simple, contributing to a shorter, sturdy text silhouette. Numerals follow the same handmade logic, with slight wobble and softened corners that maintain consistency with the letterforms.
