A very heavy, high-contrast serif with pronounced wedge-like serifs and flared stroke endings that create a chiseled silhouette. Stems are sturdy and vertical, while joins and terminals often pinch into triangular notches, giving many letters a carved or cut-in look. Counters tend to be compact and deep, and the lowercase shows a firm, upright rhythm with sturdy bowls and angled entry/exit strokes. Numerals and capitals read as sculptural blocks, with strong vertical emphasis and crisp interior cuts that heighten contrast at corners and joins.

Best suited to headlines and short blocks of text where its carved details and wedge serifs can be appreciated. It works particularly well for poster typography, magazine and editorial titling, book covers, and brand marks that need a strong, classic voice with a distinctive edge.

The overall tone is bold and editorial, with a theatrical, poster-ready presence that feels classic but emphatically stylized. The sharp wedge serifs and carved details add a sense of drama and authority, evoking display typography associated with headlines, cultural events, and assertive branding.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through heavy weight and high contrast while differentiating itself with flared endings and cut-in notches. Its forms prioritize a memorable, sculpted texture that reads as both traditional and emphatically display-oriented.

At larger sizes the distinctive notches, flared terminals, and sharp joins become key identifying features; in smaller settings those same details can visually thicken and increase texture. The wide, assertive capital forms pair well with the sturdier, compact lowercase, producing a dense, punchy typographic color in paragraphs and headlines alike.
