This serif italic features a steep slant and pronounced thick–thin modulation, with broad, weighty main strokes and hairline-like connecting strokes. Serifs are sharp and finely tapered, often ending in pointed beaks and soft brackets that give strokes a sculpted, calligraphic finish. Counters are relatively compact and the overall rhythm is energetic, with slightly condensed letterforms and lively curvature that keeps lines of text moving. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, angled construction, reading as formal and display-oriented rather than utilitarian.

Best suited for headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other editorial display settings where contrast and slant can read clearly at larger sizes. It can also serve luxury-leaning branding and packaging, especially for short names or taglines where its sharp terminals and dramatic modulation add character.

The tone is refined and theatrical, combining traditional bookish manners with a fashion-forward, headline sensibility. Its strong contrast and italic momentum communicate sophistication and urgency, making it feel at home in polished, high-end contexts.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic italic serif voice with heightened contrast and a distinctly calligraphic edge. It prioritizes expressive texture and elegant word shapes for display typography, aiming for impact without abandoning conventional serif readability.

Uppercase forms show assertive, wedge-like terminals and crisp joins that produce sharp internal angles in letters such as K, N, and W. Lowercase includes a single-storey a and g with sweeping entry/exit strokes, reinforcing the calligraphic impression and enhancing the sense of motion across words.
