This serif face presents crisp, bracketed wedge serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation with a largely vertical axis. Capitals are stately and wide-set with sharp, triangular apexes (notably in A and V forms) and clean, tapered terminals. Lowercase shows compact, sturdy bowls and counters with occasional ball terminals and teardrop-like finishing, producing a slightly sculpted, calligraphic edge despite the upright construction. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with clear, classic proportions and firmly anchored serifs for a consistent text-and-display rhythm.

It suits editorial typography where contrast and refinement are desirable, such as magazine headlines, book covers, and feature titles. It can also support upscale branding and packaging that benefits from a classic serif tone, especially at display sizes where the hairlines and tapered serifs remain clear.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, with an editorial, bookish confidence. High contrast and sharp serifing lend it a refined, slightly dramatic presence that reads as premium and formal rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif reading of classic letterforms while adding sharper, more theatrical contrast for impact. It balances familiar proportions with assertive tapering and crisp details to work effectively in prominent, attention-led settings.

Stroke joins and serifs stay crisp and controlled, creating a strong black-and-white texture at larger sizes. The family’s rhythm alternates between sturdy stems and fine hairlines, giving headings a confident sparkle while maintaining a conventional serif voice.
