A sharply modeled display serif with hairline horizontals and pronounced slab-like terminals that read as crisp, flat caps on stems. The letterforms show strong thick–thin modulation, with thin connecting strokes and sturdier verticals that create a sparkling, high-contrast texture in text. Serifs are clean and largely unbracketed, giving the design a precise, engineered edge, while round characters retain smooth, open bowls and a controlled, slightly calligraphic curve logic. Lowercase forms keep a traditional skeleton with compact joins and small, distinct details (notably in f, g, and t), and numerals follow the same high-contrast, set-like rhythm.

Well suited to headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other editorial typography where high contrast and crisp slab terminals can read as intentional refinement. It can also serve branding and packaging that wants a classic-yet-precise voice, and book-cover titling where the serif detailing and contrast provide a premium feel.

The overall tone feels polished and literary, blending classical book-type cues with a more contemporary, editorial sharpness. Its contrast and knife-thin cross-strokes lend a sense of sophistication and restraint, while the squared slab terminals add confidence and structure.

The design appears intended as a high-contrast slab-inflected serif that delivers classic readability cues while emphasizing sharp, square-ended finishing for a modern editorial presence. Its consistent terminal treatment and delicate horizontals suggest a focus on elegant display settings and polished typographic hierarchy.

In longer lines the font produces an airy, finely ruled color with strong vertical emphasis; thin strokes can appear especially delicate at smaller sizes, while larger settings highlight the crisp slab terminals and the elegant contrast in rounds and diagonals.
