A heavy, right-leaning slab serif with compact, blocky letterforms and strongly bracketed slabs. Strokes show noticeable modulation, with thick main stems and tighter joins that create small notches/ink-trap-like openings in places such as corners and diagonals. Counters are relatively tight, curves are sturdy and slightly squarish, and terminals often finish with blunt slabs or subtle bulb-like ends. Figures are bold and open with the same chunky, serifed construction, giving the set a cohesive, punchy texture in text.

Best suited for display settings where impact is needed: headlines, posters, brand marks, and bold packaging or labels. It can also work for short editorial bursts—pull quotes, subheads, and promotional copy—where a dense, authoritative texture is an advantage.

The tone is confident and energetic, mixing a classic newspaper/letterpress sensibility with a sporty, poster-ready punch. Its weight and slanted stance feel urgent and promotional, while the slab structure keeps it grounded and traditional.

Designed to deliver maximum visual weight and momentum while retaining a traditional slab-serif backbone. The bracketing and small notches at joins suggest an intention to keep forms clear and printable at large sizes, emphasizing boldness, energy, and a slightly vintage, press-like character.

The uppercase has a strong, sign-like presence with broad proportions and prominent serifs, while the lowercase stays compact and rhythmic, producing a dense color in paragraphs. The italic angle is consistent and the serif/bracket shapes help maintain legibility despite the heavy weight and tight spacing.
