A flared serif text face with gently swelling strokes and subtly tapered terminals that create a soft, calligraphic rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often sharpen into small spurs, while curves are full and round with slightly pinched joins in places (notably in bowls and shoulders). Capitals feel sturdy and classical, with clear modulation through flare rather than strong thick–thin contrast. Lowercase forms are compact and cohesive, with a two-storey “a,” a single-storey “g,” and a moderate, readable aperture structure; numerals are traditional and fairly even in color.

Well suited to editorial typography—book interiors, long-form reading, and magazine text—where the low-contrast construction maintains an even texture. The spurred, flared details also make it effective for chapter titles, pull quotes, packaging, and identity work that benefits from a classic, crafted voice.

The overall tone is traditional and bookish, with a handcrafted edge that recalls engraved or quill-influenced lettering. It reads as dignified and slightly dramatic rather than minimalist, lending a sense of heritage and narrative warmth.

Designed to provide a readable serif with a traditional, slightly calligraphic personality, using flared stroke endings and spurred serifs to add character without relying on high contrast. The intent appears to balance sturdy text performance with distinctive, heritage-leaning details for display moments.

Pointed, spurred terminals on letters like C, E, F, T, and S add crispness at display sizes, while the restrained contrast keeps paragraphs stable. The silhouette shows mild width variation across glyphs, giving text a natural, less mechanical cadence.
