A delicate calligraphic script with pronounced contrast between hairline entry strokes and heavier downstrokes. The forms are tall and narrow with a steady upright posture, relying on long ascenders and descenders to create a vertical rhythm. Terminals are tapered and often finish in fine hooks or curls, and many capitals feature restrained swashes and interior loop detailing. Lowercase shapes are compact with a relatively small x-height, while spacing and stroke modulation create an airy, lace-like texture in longer lines.
