A condensed, high-contrast serif with emphatic vertical stems and extremely thin hairlines. Serifs are sharp and mostly unbracketed, often reading as pointed wedges or small flares, giving terminals a crisp, engraved look. Counters are tight and rectangular, and several letters show angular joins and notch-like cut-ins that sharpen the silhouette. Overall spacing feels compact and vertical, with a rigid rhythm and strong black-and-white striping across words.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, film or event titles, editorial mastheads, and brand marks where a tall, chiseled texture is desirable. It can also work for short pull quotes or packaging accents, especially where a formal, high-impact voice is needed; for longer text, its tight counters and fine hairlines may require generous sizing and spacing.

The tone is dramatic and severe, mixing classic high-contrast elegance with a slightly gothic, poster-like bite. Its sharp terminals and compressed proportions create a commanding, theatrical presence that can feel both refined and intimidating.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum contrast and verticality in a condensed footprint, borrowing cues from Didone-style refinement while pushing sharper, more angular details for heightened drama. It prioritizes distinctive word shapes and a strong stripe pattern for attention-grabbing display typography.

Numerals and capitals are especially tall and architectural, while lowercase retains the same rigid, upright construction and minimal curvature. The design’s thin connections and hairlines are visually delicate relative to the heavy stems, producing a striking sparkle at display sizes and a more brittle texture as sizes get smaller.
