This typeface uses heavy, sculpted serif letterforms with strong contrast between thick stems and razor-thin hairlines. Serifs are sharply flared and wedge-like, and many joins include deliberate triangular cut-ins that read like ink traps or notches, creating a carved, faceted silhouette. Counters are relatively compact for the weight, and the rhythm is driven by broad, blocky masses interrupted by precise, tapered details. Numerals and capitals carry the same chiseled treatment, producing a consistent, poster-oriented texture across lines of text.

Best suited to large-size display settings such as headlines, poster typography, magazine titling, and bold brand moments where its sculpted contrast can be appreciated. It can also work well on packaging or identity systems that want a distinctive, carved serif flavor rather than a conventional text serif.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, combining a refined high-contrast sensibility with an overtly decorative, cut-stone attitude. It feels retro in an editorial or display way—confident, attention-seeking, and slightly mischievous due to the repeated notches and razor accents.

The design appears intended to merge classic high-contrast serif structure with a decorative, engineered surface treatment—using notches and sharp flares to add character and a memorable texture. It prioritizes impact and recognizability in display use over neutrality.

In running text the recurring notched joins create distinctive horizontal “bites” that can form a patterned banding effect, especially in rounded letters and across tight spacing. The extreme hairlines and tapered interior cuts are key identifiers and will be most legible when given enough size and contrast.
