A very heavy serif with pronounced vertical stress and extreme thick–thin modulation. The letterforms are compact and upright, with tall, sturdy stems contrasted by hairline curves and sharp transitions. Serifs read as bracketed wedges that flare decisively from the stems, and many rounded letters terminate in soft, teardrop-like terminals that emphasize the contrast. Counters are relatively tight and the overall rhythm is punchy, with a slightly condensed feel in places and lively, calligraphic shaping in curves.

Best used for display settings such as magazine mastheads, editorial headlines, posters, and statement branding where high contrast and strong serifs can carry the composition. It can also work on packaging and invitations when a formal, high-impact look is desired, especially at larger sizes where hairline details stay clear.

The tone is bold and theatrical, combining classical serif structure with a decorative, high-fashion edge. It feels authoritative and attention-grabbing, suited to headlines that want prestige and drama rather than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif silhouette with heightened contrast and decorative terminals, optimizing for visual impact and sophistication in short text. Its exaggerated modulation and assertive serifs prioritize character and hierarchy over subdued, long-form readability.

In the sample text, the weight and contrast create strong word shapes and a striking color on the page, while the fine hairlines and tight apertures suggest it will be most comfortable at larger sizes. Numerals match the display character, with curvy forms and sharp, high-contrast joins that maintain the same emphatic presence as the capitals.
