A very heavy serif with sculpted, bracketed terminals and a distinctly carved, ink-trap-like silhouette. Strokes show pronounced modulation, with sharp interior notches and flared joins that create lively contrast inside otherwise chunky forms. Serifs are short and curving rather than slab-like, and many letters end in teardrop or wedge terminals that soften the overall mass. The lowercase is compact with sturdy bowls and a single-storey a; the texture is bouncy and irregular in rhythm, giving the line a hand-cut, display-oriented feel rather than a smooth book face.

Best suited to display work such as posters, editorial headlines, packaging, and identity systems that benefit from a bold, vintage-leaning serif voice. It can also work for short blurbs or pull quotes when set with comfortable tracking and ample leading to preserve the interior detail.

The font projects a warm, vintage personality—part old-time print, part playful poster lettering. Its swelling curves and chiselled details feel theatrical and slightly whimsical, making text look emphatic, approachable, and a bit mischievous.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif through a more illustrative, hand-crafted lens—using exaggerated weight, curving brackets, and carved negative spaces to produce a distinctive, attention-grabbing texture for modern display typography.

In the sample paragraph, the dense weight and animated terminals create strong word shapes at larger sizes, but the tight counters and interior notches suggest it will read best when given generous size and spacing. Numerals follow the same rounded, carved style, with distinctive, stout forms that match the headline presence of the caps.
