A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, hairline horizontals, and sharply tapered curves. Serifs are crisp and mostly bracketed, with fine, pointed beaks and subtle calligraphic inflection in joins and terminals. Capitals are stately and spacious with a slightly condensed vertical presence and clean, classical proportions; the lowercase shows compact bowls, a two-storey a, and lively details like the angled ear on g and delicate, calligraphic finishing on r and s. Numerals keep the same contrast and elegance, with thin cross-strokes and rounded forms that read clearly at display sizes.

This face is best suited to headlines, pull quotes, and larger editorial typography where its contrast and fine detailing can be appreciated. It can work for short to medium passages in high-quality print or high-resolution digital settings, and it lends a premium, traditional voice to branding, packaging, and cultural materials.

The overall tone is polished and bookish, projecting an editorial, literary sophistication. Its sharp hairlines and composed rhythm evoke traditional print refinement, with a distinctly formal, premium feel suited to culture, fashion, and publishing contexts.

The design appears intended as a contemporary interpretation of a classical book serif, balancing sharp modern precision with traditional calligraphic stress and bracketed serifs. It prioritizes elegance and hierarchy for editorial settings, offering strong presence in display while maintaining recognizable, conventional text-serifs structure.

In text, the tight hairlines and high contrast create a sparkling texture, while the generous internal counters keep letterforms from feeling brittle. The italics are not shown; the roman has enough calligraphic nuance in terminals to add personality without becoming decorative.
