A crisp serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and finely tapered, bracketed serifs. Forms are upright with a steady, text-oriented rhythm, combining relatively open counters with sharper terminals and a subtly calligraphic modulation. Capitals read dignified and even, while the lowercase shows a traditional book-face structure with a two-storey a and g, narrow joins, and neatly finished ascenders and descenders. Numerals appear lining with clear, balanced proportions and elegant curves.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a refined serif texture is desirable. It also performs convincingly for magazine headlines, pull quotes, and formal printed materials such as invitations or programs, especially at medium to large sizes where the contrast and terminals can be appreciated.

The overall tone is classic and cultivated, projecting an editorial, bookish sophistication. Its contrast and fine details add a sense of luxury and restraint, while the open shapes keep it approachable rather than ornate. The result feels suited to formal, considered communication.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-fidelity text serif that balances readability with a polished, contemporary-classic finish. Its careful contrast, bracketed serifs, and measured proportions suggest an aim toward editorial versatility and a premium page feel.

In the text sample, the design maintains a clean baseline and consistent color, with contrast becoming more prominent at larger sizes. The italics are not shown; the roman carries most of the personality through tapered strokes, narrow hairlines, and controlled curvature in round letters.
