A decorative serif with sharply faceted construction and an engraved, chiseled feel. Strokes are heavy and mostly straight, with corners clipped into small chamfers that create octagonal counters in letters like O and Q and similarly cut bowls in B, D, P, and R. Serifs are pointed and wedge-like rather than bracketed, and many terminals end in crisp triangular or knife-edge shapes. Proportions are compact with sturdy verticals and a slightly irregular, hand-cut rhythm across widths, especially in the lowercase where forms like a, g, and q show distinctive, angular bowls and abrupt joins.

This face is best suited to display roles such as posters, headlines, logotypes, labels, and signage where its carved, faceted detailing can read clearly at larger sizes. It pairs well with historical, fantasy, craft, or heritage-themed branding, and works effectively for titles and pull quotes that benefit from a dense, authoritative texture.

The overall tone is gothic and old-world, evoking signage, tavern prints, and heraldic or medieval cues without fully becoming traditional blackletter. Its sharp facets and dense color give it a commanding, ceremonial presence that reads as historic, dramatic, and slightly ominous.

The design appears intended to translate a carved or engraved letterform aesthetic into a consistent digital display type, combining serifed structure with angular, chamfered geometry. It prioritizes impact and thematic character over neutrality, aiming to deliver a historic, emblematic voice that remains legible in bold settings.

The numerals follow the same chamfered, blocky logic, producing a strong display texture with prominent interior cuts. In text, the tight apertures and angular joins create a dark, continuous rhythm that favors short bursts of copy over extended reading.
