A tightly drawn display serif with compact proportions, strong vertical emphasis, and sharply chiseled details. Strokes swing from very thick main stems to needle-like hairlines, with abrupt transitions that create an engraved, cut-from-metal feel. Serifs are narrow and pointed with minimal bracketing, and many joins resolve into faceted corners and small notches rather than smooth curves. Counters are relatively tight, terminals are crisp, and the overall rhythm is tall and disciplined, with an intentionally severe texture in text settings.

Best suited to large sizes where its fine hairlines and carved corners can be appreciated—headlines, mastheads, titles, and impactful pull quotes.
