This typeface is a slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sculpted, bracketed serifs that often resolve into wedge-like terminals. Strokes show a calligraphic logic, with energized entry/exit strokes, tapered joins, and a lively diagonal stress in round letters. Uppercase forms feel sturdy and slightly compact, while lowercase letters use flowing shapes with rounded bowls and notable tapering on stems and arms, producing a rhythmic, forward-moving texture. Numerals share the same slanted, high-contrast construction and read as lining figures with strong, sharp terminals.

It is well suited to headlines, pull quotes, and short-to-medium editorial setting where its contrast and slant can carry personality. It can also work for book covers, event posters, and branding applications that benefit from a classic serif voice with a dramatic, italic emphasis.

The overall tone is traditional and assertive, combining a bookish, literary familiarity with a more theatrical, display-ready punch. Its angled posture and crisp contrast add urgency and drama, lending an editorial voice that feels confident and slightly romantic.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with an elevated, calligraphic italic character—prioritizing expressive rhythm, sharp contrast, and confident emphasis for editorial and display contexts.

In the sample text, the heavy weight and contrast create a dark color on the page, with distinctive, curled terminals visible in letters like a, f, j, and y. The italic construction is consistent across cases, giving paragraphs a cohesive, energetic slant that is more expressive than neutral text italics.
