A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a calligraphic, pen-driven rhythm. Strokes taper into sharp terminals and subtly flare at their ends, with gently bracketed serifs that stay delicate rather than blocky. The uppercase is stately and open with smooth curves, while the lowercase shows lively entry/exit strokes and italic forms (notably in the a, f, g, and y) that keep a consistent forward motion. Numerals are similarly drawn with thin hairlines, rounded joins, and crisp finishing strokes, giving the whole set a polished, text-oriented texture.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, essays, and book interiors where an italic voice is frequently needed for emphasis and titles. It can also support branding applications that benefit from a refined, literary feel—particularly in headlines, pull quotes, and short-to-medium text settings where its crisp contrast and fluent rhythm can shine.

The overall tone is cultured and expressive—more poetic than technical—balancing elegance with a slightly dramatic, old-world sophistication. It feels at home in environments that want tradition and taste, but with enough movement to read as contemporary editorial rather than strictly historical reproduction.

Designed to provide an elegant italic with clear calligraphic logic and a refined text color, pairing expressive stroke endings with controlled proportions for continuous reading. The flared terminals and bracketed serifs suggest an intent to soften high-contrast structure with a more human, pen-like finish.

Spacing appears comfortably open in running text, allowing the high-contrast details to remain clear, while the italic angle and tapered terminals create a continuous diagonal flow across words. The design’s flared endings add warmth and personality compared to a purely hairline, didone-like italic.
