A high-contrast serif with vertical stress, crisp hairlines, and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are fine and sharp with minimal bracketing, giving the letterforms a polished, engraved feel. Capitals are stately and relatively wide, with elegant curves in C/G/O and a sculptural Q featuring a sweeping tail. Lowercase shows a compact x-height and lively details such as a two-storey g, a beaked/curved t, and occasional ball terminals; spacing and widths vary noticeably across letters, creating an expressive rhythm rather than a strictly uniform texture.

Best suited to display and headline work where the contrast and hairlines can be appreciated—magazine titles, pull quotes, luxury packaging, and brand wordmarks. It can also serve for short-form editorial settings (deck heads, chapter openers, cover lines) where a refined, high-impact serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is sophisticated and high-end, with a fashion-and-publishing sensibility. Its dramatic contrast and hairline detailing convey elegance, authority, and a slightly theatrical crispness that reads as premium and formal.

Designed to deliver a modern Didone-like elegance: strong verticals, delicate serifs, and sculpted curves aimed at high-impact typography. The varied proportions and animated terminals suggest an intention to feel characterful and premium rather than purely neutral or purely text-focused.

At larger sizes the delicate serifs and fine inner strokes become a defining feature, while in denser settings the contrast makes the texture more dynamic and attention-grabbing. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with curvy figures and distinctive terminals that feel display-oriented rather than utilitarian.
