A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines, fuller main stems, and bracketed wedge-like serifs that feel slightly flared rather than blunt. The curves are smooth and controlled, with a vertical, steady axis and carefully tapered terminals on letters like C, S, and a. Uppercase forms are broad and stately, while the lowercase shows traditional proportions with a compact, two-storey a and g, a narrow e with a sharp eye, and a relatively open, readable rhythm in running text. Overall spacing is even and text-oriented, with a refined sheen that becomes more pronounced at display sizes.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and essays where a classic serif texture is desired, and also effective for magazine layouts and editorial headlines that benefit from added contrast. It can bring a formal, premium tone to invitations, cultural programs, and brand collateral that leans traditional.

The tone is polished and authoritative, balancing classical book typography with a slightly dramatic contrast that reads as editorial and cultivated. It feels composed and traditional rather than quirky, projecting trust, sophistication, and a quiet sense of ceremony.

The design appears intended as a conventional, text-first serif with an elevated, print-classic voice—prioritizing clear letterforms and consistent paragraph color while adding enough contrast and sharpness to hold its own in larger sizes.

The numerals share the same sculpted contrast and tapered finishing, giving figures a dignified, print-like character. In the sample text, the strong thick–thin transitions create a lively texture, while the sturdy serifs keep paragraphs grounded and stable.
