This typeface presents a sculpted serif structure with pronounced thick–thin contrast and distinctly flared terminals that broaden as strokes finish. Serifs are tapered and subtly bracketed, giving corners a carved, calligraphic feel rather than a purely mechanical finish. Capitals are broad with generous internal space (notably in C, O, Q) and a steady, upright stance, while round letters show a slightly elliptical stress. Lowercase forms keep a traditional, bookish build with a two-storey a and g, clear joining logic, and crisp entry/exit strokes; the overall rhythm alternates between strong verticals and elegant hairlines. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with curving forms and sharp, refined terminals that remain sturdy at display sizes.

Well-suited to headlines, magazine/editorial typography, and display-driven layouts where contrast and sculpted serifs can carry tone. It can also serve book covers and branding that aim for authority and tradition, and it can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with ample size and comfortable leading.

The tone is confident and cultivated, balancing classical book typography with a more theatrical, display-forward sharpness. Its flared endings and dramatic contrast add a sense of ceremony and gravitas, making text feel formal, editorial, and slightly historical without becoming overly ornate.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif proportions with expressive, flared stroke endings, creating a sturdy display serif that still reads as refined and literary. Its wide capitals, high contrast, and crisp terminals point to an emphasis on impactful titling and editorial presence over neutral, text-only invisibility.

Stroke endings often resolve into wedge-like flares, producing a distinctive silhouette in letters such as T, V, W, and y. Spacing appears fairly generous for a bold serif, supporting clear word shapes in the sample text, while the contrast and detailing suggest best performance from medium to large sizes where the hairlines can breathe.
