A refined serif with strong vertical emphasis, crisp hairline serifs, and pronounced thick–thin transitions that create a bright, high-fashion rhythm on the page. Capitals are tall and stately with clean, straight-sided forms, while the lowercase is compact with a notably small x-height and slender, carefully tapered joins. Curves show a controlled, vertical stress and end in sharp, sometimes slightly calligraphic terminals; several glyphs feature distinctive sweeping details (notably the Q tail and a flourish-like Z), adding character without becoming overtly decorative. Figures are similarly elegant, with thin connecting strokes and a poised, old-style feel in their proportions.

Best suited to display contexts such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, titles, and packaging or brand marks where contrast and detail can be appreciated. It can also work for short-form editorial copy and refined book-cover typography, especially with generous spacing and high-quality output.

The overall tone is polished and cultured, leaning toward luxury and literary sophistication. Its dramatic contrast and fine detailing give it a sense of ceremony and glamour, while the restrained construction keeps it composed and editorial rather than playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on classic, high-contrast serif typography—prioritizing elegance, vertical poise, and distinctive finishing strokes for strong editorial and branding presence.

At text sizes the hairlines and small internal counters can read delicate, so the design’s strengths are most apparent when given enough size and good reproduction. The italics are not shown; the roman’s subtle flourish in select forms provides much of the personality.
