A high-contrast serif with sharp, bracketed serifs and a smooth, calligraphic modulation through curves and joins. The letterforms show a traditional text rhythm: sturdy vertical stems, fine hairlines, and controlled apertures that stay relatively open for readability. Capitals are proportioned with dignified width and crisp terminals, while lowercase shapes feel orthodox and compact, with a two-storey “a” and “g” and neatly finished stroke endings. Numerals follow the same refined contrast and align comfortably with the text color, maintaining a consistent, polished texture in paragraphs.

Well suited to long-form reading in books and essays, as well as editorial layouts where a refined serif texture is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and institutional or cultural branding that benefits from a traditional, authoritative voice.

The overall tone is classical and literary, conveying authority and formality without feeling overly ornamental. It reads as poised and editorial—suited to content that wants to feel established, trustworthy, and carefully set.

Designed to provide a conventional, highly legible serif for text composition, combining strong vertical structure with elegant hairlines to produce a familiar, premium page color. The forms aim for typographic neutrality with a distinctly classic finish, supporting both immersive reading and elevated editorial presentation.

Diagonal forms (notably in V/W/X/Y) are clean and decisive, and rounded letters like O/Q and e/c carry a balanced, slightly oval stress that reinforces a traditional page-like texture. Fine details remain crisp at display sizes, while the text sample suggests an even, composed color for continuous reading.
