A heavy, blackletter-inspired display face with compact inner counters and a dense, ink-rich color. Strokes end in sharp, wedge-like terminals and irregular spurs, producing a torn, ragged silhouette that reads as intentionally distressed rather than cleanly cut. Letterforms show broken, angular curves and occasional hooked joins, with tight apertures and a lively, uneven edge rhythm that adds texture at both headline and short-text sizes. Numerals follow the same angular, spurred construction and keep the overall set visually consistent.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller titles, Halloween promotions, haunted-attraction signage, and dark fantasy or occult-themed game interfaces. It also works well for poster headlines, packaging accents, and album/episode titling where the distressed gothic texture is meant to be part of the message.

The texture and thorny terminals create a dark, supernatural tone, like lettering scraped into stone or printed from a worn gothic block. It feels foreboding and theatrical, leaning toward horror and ritual imagery rather than historical authenticity.

The design appears intended to fuse blackletter structure with deliberately rough, spiky contours to project menace and decay. Its goal is immediate mood-setting and visual character, prioritizing atmosphere over sustained readability.

In the sample text, the rough perimeter becomes a strong stylistic signature, while the dense forms and narrow openings can reduce clarity in long passages. The face benefits from generous tracking and clear size separation between headings and supporting copy.
