This serif shows strong thick–thin modulation with crisp hairlines and weighty main stems, creating a pronounced vertical rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and relatively small, with tapered joins that keep counters open despite the heavy weight. Rounds (C, O, e, o) carry clear stress and a sculpted, cut-like feel, while terminals often finish in subtle ball or teardrop shapes (notably on f, j, and some lowercase joins). Proportions are generous in the caps and slightly compact in the lowercase, producing a stable text color and a distinctly print-oriented texture at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, and prominent editorial typography where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It can work for short blocks of text in print-style layouts, but it will shine most in larger sizes where hairlines and terminals remain clear. The strong color and traditional structure also make it a good fit for book covers, cultural branding, and premium packaging-style copy.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, with a confident, authoritative presence. Its high-contrast modeling and sharp finishing details evoke book typography and magazine mastheads, reading as refined rather than playful. The weight gives it a declarative, headline-ready voice while still feeling rooted in classic serif conventions.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, print-centric serif voice with elevated contrast and a sturdy headline weight. It balances traditional bracketed serifs and stressed curves with a modern crispness, aiming for impact without departing from conventional text-serif forms.

At larger sizes the delicate hairlines and tight inner apertures become a defining feature, giving the font a polished, high-impact look. The figures appear lining and similarly high-contrast, with sculpted curves that match the letterforms’ calligraphic stress.
