A high-contrast serif with slender hairlines and crisp, tapered serifs that read as lightly bracketed rather than slab-like. The strokes show a pronounced calligraphic stress, with smooth transitions into thin joins and pointed terminals on forms like V, W, and Y. Capitals feel stately and open, with generous internal space in bowls (O, Q) and a refined diagonal structure in letters like K and R. Lowercase follows a bookish rhythm: a compact, two-storey a, a looping g with a distinct ear, and a narrow, lightly curved s; the overall texture is airy, with clear thick–thin modulation and delicate horizontals.

Best suited to display and large-text settings such as magazine typography, book and album covers, fashion or cultural branding, and sophisticated headlines. It can also work for pull quotes or short passages where a light, high-contrast texture is desired and printing/rendering conditions support fine hairlines.

The typeface projects a polished, literary tone—more salon and editorial than utilitarian. Its sharp, glossy contrast and controlled proportions give it a sense of formality and prestige, while the open counters keep it from feeling overly ornate.

The design appears aimed at delivering a modernized, high-contrast text-serif voice—classical in structure but optimized for contemporary editorial aesthetics. Its intention is to communicate refinement and authority through crisp serifs, disciplined proportions, and a luminous thick–thin rhythm.

Numerals share the same contrasting construction, with thin cross-strokes and elegant curves (notably 2, 3, 5, and 9). The Q’s tail is restrained and angled, and the lowercase j has a gentle descender curve, reinforcing the refined, calligraphic character without slipping into script-like mannerisms.
